What are the reservation office hours?
The reservations department is available Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Outside these hours, our reception team will be happy to assist you at +49 89 551370.
Is there a best price guarantee?
We guarantee a best price guarantee for all direct bookings. If you find the same offer at a lower price elsewhere, we will be happy to adjust the rate upon direct inquiry.
Are group bookings possible?
Group and exclusive booking requests are generally possible. Please contact us by email at groups@g-ph.com or by phone at +49 89 55137 8197 for further information.

Is cost absorption possible?
Unfortunately, we generally do not accept cost absorption arrangements.
Is invoicing possible?
Yes, we are happy to issue an invoice. Please inform our reservations or reception team prior to arrival at +49 89 383810.
Can vouchers be purchased?
Vouchers can be purchased directly on site or ordered by phone at +49 89 55137 8141.
Which payment options are available at the hotel and on the website?
You can pay in cash, by EC card, with all major credit cards, via SaferPay link, on account, or by advance bank transfer and pro forma invoice.

Green Option – Can I opt out of room cleaning?
Skip room cleaning and receive €5 per day, which you can redeem during your stay at breakfast or at the bar. Your contribution helps us conserve resources and protect the environment. Thank you for your support.
Arrival FAQ
Is parking available?
You may park your car in our underground garage for €25 per night, subject to availability. Advance reservation of parking spaces is not possible.
Can I charge my electric car?
We have two electric charging stations available. Charging your electric car costs €15 per day.
How is the hotel connected to public transportation?
The Giselastraße and Münchner Freiheit subway stations are both within walking distance. From there, it’s only three stops to the famous Marienplatz.
Can I book an airport transfer?
We are happy to arrange a comfortable transfer to or from Munich Airport. Prices for transfers from the hotel to the airport are €110 for a car and €115 for a minivan.
Are there bicycle parking facilities?
Yes, we offer secure bicycle parking in our underground garage. Please contact our reception team in advance to check availability.
Food & Drinks FAQ
What time is breakfast served?
We offer a comprehensive breakfast buffet daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
What kind of breakfast is available?
Start your morning with our generous breakfast buffet, designed to leave nothing to be desired. We place great value on variety and quality:
Extensive selection: Fresh baked goods, regional specialties, and a colorful variety of fruit and cereals.
Vegan options: Of course, we also offer a wide range of vegan choices, from plant-based milk alternatives to vegan spreads and treats.
Prices: The buffet costs €22 per person. Children aged 4 to 12 enjoy breakfast for €11, and for children under 4, breakfast is free of charge.
Is there a hotel bar?
Our small bar in the reception area is the perfect place for a short break or a relaxed drink in the evening.

From what time can I check in?
Check-in is possible from 3:00 pm. Your room will be ready so you can start your stay relaxed.
Is early check-in possible?
Subject to availability, we are happy to offer early check-in. Please contact us in advance so we can check the options for you.
What documents are required at check-in?
For a smooth check-in, please have a credit card ready for authorization. International guests will also need a valid ID card or passport.
Check-out
By what time do I need to check out?
On your departure day, you may use your room until 12:00 noon.
Is late check-out possible?
If you require your room for longer, a late check-out is possible for a small additional fee and subject to availability. Please contact the reception for details.
Children & Family FAQ
Are there special offers for children?
Children up to and including 3 years stay free of charge. For children up to and including 12 years, we charge a supplement of €20 per night when sharing a Compact Suite, Twin Room, or Team Room with their parents.
Is childcare available?
Childcare can be arranged upon request, subject to availability and for an additional fee. Charges are calculated on an hourly basis.
How much does breakfast cost for children?
Children up to 4 years eat breakfast free of charge. From 4 to 12 years, the breakfast buffet costs €9.50, and from 12 years onward, the regular breakfast price of €19 applies.
Are baby cots or high chairs available?
Yes, baby cots and high chairs are available free of charge upon request and subject to availability. Please inform our reservations team prior to arrival at +49 89 55137 8196.
Are there family-friendly activities nearby?
Schwabing offers many family-friendly activities, such as the nearby English Garden with playgrounds and walking paths. Our reception team will be happy to help you plan excursions, for example to SEA LIFE Munich or the Deutsches Museum.
Are the rooms suitable for families?
Yes, we offer special family rooms (up to four people) and team rooms (up to six people), which are spacious and ideal for family stays. Please contact our reservations team at +49 89 55137 8196 for more information.

Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms.
Is there a smoking area?
Smoking is not permitted in rooms or indoor areas. However, there is a designated smoking area outside the hotel.
Are pets allowed?
You are welcome to bring your pet for an additional fee of €25 per night.
Are pets allowed in all room categories?
Pets are welcome in most room categories, but not in our allergy-friendly rooms. Please indicate when booking that you will be bringing a pet so we can assign a suitable room.

Are extra beds available?
We are happy to offer multi-bed rooms, including family rooms (up to 4 people) and team rooms (up to 6 people).
What amenities does the bathroom include?
Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, and suites feature both a shower and a bathtub. Each room also includes a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, toilet, and toiletries.
Are the rooms barrier-free?

Is there a minibar?
We do not have a minibar, but drinks are available for purchase at reception.
Is free Wi-Fi available?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Upon request and subject to availability, we are happy to provide allergy-friendly beds.
Do all rooms have air conditioning?
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Is there a safe in the room?
Yes, a safe is available in every room.
Is there a telephone in the room?
Each room is equipped with a telephone.
Is there a refrigerator in the room?
Our rooms are not equipped with a refrigerator.
Is there a coffee machine in the room?
Our rooms are not equipped with coffee machines. However, you can purchase coffee during the day from the machines in our publicly accessible breakfast area.
Is there a kettle in the room?
Kettles are not standard in our rooms. However, you may borrow one from reception, subject to availability. Please ask our team on site.
Is there an elevator in the hotel?
Yes, the hotel has an elevator that provides barrier-free access to all floors.
Are there meeting or event rooms?
Unfortunately, we do not offer meeting or event rooms. We are happy to refer you to our sister hotel, Excelsior by Geisel.
Sauna & Fitness FAQ
Is there a sauna in the hotel?
Yes, our Finnish sauna is intentionally designed as a textile sauna, offering a discreet and comfortable sauna experience. At a pleasant 90°C, you can relax year-round and recharge. The sauna is available daily from 5:00 pm; earlier use is possible upon request.
Is there a fitness room?
Yes, our NOHRD Gym is available 24 hours a day.
Are showers available?
Yes, you will find a shower in our mini spa & gym area for cooling off before and after your sauna session.
Is there a pool?
Our outdoor jacuzzi invites you from April to the end of September, daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, to unwind and enjoy the fresh air. Please note that for safety reasons, use of the jacuzzi is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
Why does Hotel Schwabinger Wahrheit offer a textile sauna?
We aim to provide all our guests with a comfortable and relaxing sauna experience. The conscious decision to offer a textile sauna reflects the desire for greater discretion and a more relaxed sauna visit.
What should I wear in the textile sauna?
We recommend wearing clean swimwear or special cotton sauna clothing.
Are there age restrictions for using the sauna?
Use of the sauna is not recommended for persons under 16 years of age for health reasons. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there luggage storage?
Yes, we are happy to store your luggage. Lockers are available.
Does the hotel offer concierge services?
Our reception team is happy to assist you at any time with questions, restaurant reservations, and special requests.
Can I have breakfast in my room?
You are welcome to take your breakfast to your room or enjoy it in our breakfast area.
Is laundry and ironing service available?
Upon request, we can provide an iron and ironing board in your room. For laundry service, please leave your clothes at reception by 9:00 am to receive them back the same evening.
Is room service available?
We do not offer room service.
Is there a bicycle rental?
Subject to availability, we offer our in-house bicycles for rent at €15 per day per bike.
Does the hotel offer shuttle services to events or sights in Munich?
In addition to airport transfers, we can arrange transfers to selected events or sights in Munich upon request. Please contact our reception team at +49 89 383810 for details and prices.
Can I use a laptop or printer at the hotel?
A business corner with a printer is available at reception. Laptops are not available for loan, but free Wi-Fi allows you to use your own devices.
