Purpose and Legal Basis of Video Surveillance
Video surveillance is conducted to exercise property rights. It also serves to prevent criminal activities and to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
The legal basis for video surveillance is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with our legitimate interests arising from the aforementioned purposes.
If special categories of personal data are processed, this is done based on Article 9(2)(f) GDPR.
Recipients / Data Sharing
Data may be shared with service providers contracted by us who perform surveillance tasks for our company.
In cases of suspected criminal offenses, we may also share the data with attorneys, insurance companies, and law enforcement authorities.
Otherwise, data will only be disclosed if there is a legal basis for doing so. This may particularly be the case if the police or other security authorities act within the scope of hazard prevention and request access to video surveillance data.
Data Processing Outside the European Union
No personal data is processed outside the European Union in the context of video surveillance.

Your Rights as a Data Subject
You have the right to access your personal data. You can request this information from us at any time.
For non-written requests, we may ask for proof of identity to ensure that you are the person you claim to be.
Additionally, you have the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, as far as legally applicable.
Furthermore, you have the right to object to data processing within the legal framework.
A right to data portability also exists in accordance with data protection regulations.
Deletion of Data
Data from video surveillance is generally deleted after 72 hours.
Extended storage may occur if there is reason to believe that recordings from a specific period contain evidence of criminal activity or may be required for asserting civil claims.
Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
You have the right to file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data by us.
