Our hotels and our restaurant are under video surveillance. In this process, personal data of guests, visitors, suppliers, employees, and other individuals who are present or have been present in the monitored areas are recorded.
The primary purpose of video surveillance is prevention – it aims to help avert potential threats to the building, our guests, visitors, employees, and suppliers at an early stage. Additionally, it facilitates the collection of evidence for the investigation of crimes and the defense against unjustified claims.

Purpose and Legal Basis of Video Surveillance
Video surveillance is conducted to exercise our property rights, to prevent criminal activities, and to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data via video surveillance is Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR, with our legitimate interests arising from the aforementioned purposes.
In cases where special categories of personal data are processed, this is done based on Article 9 (2) (f) of the GDPR.
Recipients and Data Disclosure
Data collected through video surveillance may be shared with authorized service providers engaged by us to perform security tasks.
In cases of suspected criminal activity, the data may also be disclosed to legal representatives, insurance providers, or law enforcement authorities.
Data will only be transferred to third parties if there is a valid legal basis. This may specifically apply if law enforcement or other public safety authorities request access to the video footage for security purposes.

No personal data collected through video surveillance is processed outside the European Union.

Data Retention and Deletion
Video surveillance data is generally deleted after a period of 72 hours.
In specific instances where there is a justified reason to believe that recorded footage contains evidence of criminal acts or may be required for the assertion of legal claims, data may be retained for a longer period.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority if you have concerns about how your personal data is being processed.
