The Munich Spring Festival, often referred to as the "Little Oktoberfest", will take place from April 25 to May 11, 2025, on the Theresienwiese. This traditional folk festival marks the start of Munich's festival season and offers a wide variety of attractions for all ages.

Highlights of the 2025 Spring Festival:

Beer Tents: Two large beer tents invite guests to enjoy Bavarian hospitality: the Festhalle Bayernland, run by the Schöniger family (Augustiner), and the Hippodrom, managed by the Krätz family (Spaten). Both offer daily live music and traditional Bavarian delicacies.

Rides & Stalls: Over 100 fairground attractions provide a colorful mix of rides, including the Willenborg Ferris Wheel, bumper cars, shooting galleries, and numerous food stalls.

Opening Parade: The festival kicks off with a traditional parade on April 25, 2025, at 2 PM.

Flea Market: On April 26, 2025, Bavaria’s largest flea market, organized by the BRK, will attract bargain hunters from all around.

Classic Car Show: On April 27, 2025, visitors can admire vintage cars at the Oldtimer Meeting hosted by the Munich Automobile Club.

Traditional Day: On May 4, 2025, the festival celebrates Bavarian heritage with folk music and traditional costume groups.

Fireworks: On Friday evenings, spectacular fireworks will light up the sky over the Theresienwiese.
