Guide Michelin 2024 2-Star Restaurants in Munich

Komu

Christoph Kunz is taking the culinary world by storm again! It’s the story of a culinary genius: Christoph Kunz, 38, former head chef at the renowned Alois in the Dallmayr delicatessen with two Michelin stars, took the leap into independence in 2022. Last summer, it finally happened: his own restaurant, Komu in Hackenstraße 4, opened and received immediate praise. And now, on his first try, he has earned two Michelin stars once again!

The Alois

Max Natmessnig’s successor, Rosina Ostler, is rocking the gourmet restaurant.
Last year, Max Natmessnig succeeded Kunz as head chef at the Alois gourmet restaurant in Dallmayr and earned two stars in his first attempt. He then moved to New York in the fall. But his successor, the Munich-born Rosina Ostler, 31, repeated the feat and also earned two stars right away. This promises a bright future!

Tantris

Benjamin Chmura continues the tradition!
Benjamin Chmura, 35, stepped into the big shoes of Hans Haas at Tantris and earned two stars with flying colors, which he has now successfully defended for the third time. He is also the only chef in Munich to hold stars for two restaurants. After his colleague Virginie Protat stepped down as head chef of the sister restaurant Tantris DNA, he also took over there and successfully defended the single star.
