We offer a best price guarantee for all direct bookings. If you find the same offer at a lower price elsewhere, we will adjust the rate accordingly at the time of booking.

How secure is online booking?

What are the modification and cancellation policies?

What are the conditions for assuming payment responsibility?
Unfortunately, we generally do not accept third-party payment agreements.

We will gladly provide you with an invoice for your stay upon check-out.

Can I purchase gift vouchers?
Vouchers can be purchased through our voucher shop or directly at the hotel.

What payment options are accepted at the hotel or online?
We accept cash, EC cards, major credit cards, SaferPay links, advance bank transfers, and pro forma invoices.

Are parking spaces available?
You can park in the nearby underground garage Elisenhof, Luitpoldstraße 3, 80335 Munich, for 15 Euro per 24 hours if you validate your ticket at our reception.

How accessible is public transportation?
The main train station, along with U-Bahn and S-Bahn connections, is within a short walking distance.

Is there a transfer service from Munich Airport?
We can arrange a transfer for you:

If breakfast is not included in your rate, it can be booked for 25 Euro per person per day in advance or 29 Euro on-site.

Children under 3 years: Free

Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Our buffet includes crispy bread, pastries, smoked salmon, creamy cheese spreads, fresh vegetables, yogurt, muesli, fruits, and eggs – a balanced start to your day!

Are gluten- or lactose-free products available?
These options are available upon request, subject to availability.

When is check-in possible?
Guaranteed check-in is available from 15:00.

Is early check-in available?
Early check-in may be arranged upon request, subject to availability.

What documents are required for check-in?
A credit card is required to guarantee the booking. International guests also need to provide a passport or ID card.

When is check-out?
Check-out is available until 12:00.

Is late check-out possible?
Late check-out may be arranged for an additional fee, subject to availability.

Can luggage be stored?

What amenities does the bathroom have?
Depending on the category, bathrooms are equipped with either a bathtub or shower, a hairdryer, a cosmetic mirror, a toilet, bathrobes, and L’Occitane toiletries.

Are the rooms accessible?

Is there a minibar?
All our rooms are equipped with a minibar.

Can I purchase drinks and snacks?
You are welcome to order food and beverages from our room service menu.

Is Wi-Fi available for free?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire hotel.

Are allergy-friendly beds available?
On request and subject to availability, we can provide allergy-friendly bedding.

Do all rooms have air conditioning?
Our Alpine, Deluxe, and Premium rooms and suites are equipped with air conditioning. More information can be found here.

Is there a safe in the room?
Most rooms have a safe. Alternatively, free lockers are available at the reception.

Is there a telephone in the room?
Yes, all our rooms are equipped with a telephone.

Is there a refrigerator in the room?
Yes, every room is equipped with a minibar.

Are there meeting and event spaces?
Hotel Excelsior offers four meeting and event rooms, as well as Salon Hubertus and the Vinothek, which can be used for private events. More information can be found here.

Does the hotel have a sauna or fitness room?
Unfortunately, we do not have a fitness or wellness area. However, we are happy to help you find a suitable wellness or fitness facility nearby.

Is there a kettle and a coffee machine?
All rooms are equipped with a capsule coffee machine, which also provides hot water for tea and other hot beverages. High-quality coffee capsules and teas from Dallmayr are available for you (exception: Classic Single Room and Classic Double Room).

Yes, our hotel provides a concierge service.

Can I have breakfast in my room?
Yes, in addition to our breakfast buffet at Salon Hubertus, you can enjoy breakfast in your room.

Is laundry and ironing service available?
Laundry and ironing service is available on weekdays. To receive your laundry back on the same day, please drop it off at the reception or with housekeeping by 9:00 AM.

General FAQ

Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel.

Are pets allowed?
Your dog is warmly welcome here! For €35.00 per pet and night, your beloved companion can join you on your journey. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate other pets. Thank you for your understanding.

Can additional beds be provided?
Extra beds are available for 80 Euro per night, subject to room category and availability.
