Location & Directions

Hotel Excelsior is ideally situated in Munich's pedestrian zone, between Hauptbahnhof and Karlsplatz (Stachus). Thanks to its central location, all major attractions and business centers of Munich are easily accessible.

Arriving by Car & Parking:

For guests arriving by car, several parking garages are available nearby. To reach the hotel, use Bayerstraße and the southern Bahnhofplatz to enter Schützenstraße. After unloading your luggage and completing check-in, you can turn around and park in one of the nearby garages. The closest parking option is the Elisenhof parking garage (Luitpoldstraße 3, 80335 Munich), located approximately 150 meters from the hotel. By validating your parking ticket at our reception, you can enjoy a discounted rate of €15 for 24 hours.

Public Transport:

Hotel Excelsior is excellently connected to Munich's public transport network. Four U-Bahn lines, all S-Bahn lines, and several bus and tram lines stop nearby. You can easily reach the outskirts of Munich, such as the Olympiapark in the north or Tierpark Hellabrunn in the south, in less than 20 minutes.

Airport:

To reach Munich Airport, take either the S1 or S8. The journey from the hotel to the check-in counter at the airport takes just over an hour.
